BIM Converter
Building Information Modelling, or BIM, is seen as the future of construction. This is where all technical information flows together. With the Wildeboer BIM converter, you can directly select our fire protection, noise protection, air distribution and building control components and transfer them in detail to your CAD and calculation software.
This gives you an overview of all the data of the building elements relevant to your building project and allows you to integrate them in the best possible way into the overall design.
Building Information Modelling, or BIM, is seen as the future of construction. This is where all technical information flows together. Wildeboer building elements can be selected directly via the BIM converter and transferred in detail to the liNear software. All components come with dynamic calculation data. This means that pressure losses and sound power levels of the individual components react actively to changes in the duct network. This means that, provided the design software supports it (currently liNear in Revit and AutoCAD), the changing performance data of the individual operating points can be accessed at any time.
The performance data can also be calculated directly in the Wildeboer BIM Converter for quick calculation of the performance data at the operating point. All relevant technical data, documents and product descriptions can also be extracted. The information can be transferred directly to AutoCAD and Revit via an interface. Alternatively, it is possible to export detailed or simplified 2D and 3D files in DWG and DXF formats for further use in any CAD software.
You can download the latest version (25.0.0) of the programme free of charge using the form below. After registering in the form below, you will receive a link to the download.
Please note that you will need administrator rights to run the software for the first time. Please contact your IT department if necessary.
What is BIM and what is it used for?
But what is BIM - Building Information Modelling - anyway? Modelling, or the visual representation of a building, allows everyone involved in the construction process to view key documents, building elements and other important data.
BIM is therefore all about open communication and networking between all parties to avoid misunderstandings. With BIM software, you can ensure that both building elements and departments are optimally connected. This leads to huge cost savings in the long run, as miscalculations can be minimised.
The Wildeboer BIM converter
The BIM converter from Wildeboer is a software programme that converts a product into another software programme. With our software, you can individually configure Wildeboer building elements from the areas of fire protection, noise protection, air distribution and building control systems and then convert them into other software programmes. This gives you the option to optimise your building elements and then also install them on the complete building project.
All components of the Wildeboer BIM converter have dynamic calculation data. Pressure losses and sound power levels of the individual components thus react actively to changes in the duct network. This means that - if the planning software supports this - the changing performance data of the individual operating points can be accessed at any time.
The performance data can also be calculated directly in the Wildeboer BIM converter for quick calculation of the performance data at the operating point. In addition, all relevant technical data, documents and product descriptions can be taken from the software.
