Timer-controlled opening and closing of the FK90 kitchen series FK90 fire damper, for example, can be achieved. Exhaust air ducts can thus be closed outside of the business hours of the catering industry. Parametrised sequential circuits can be used to close multiple fire dampers selectively. This prevents the spread of fire and smoke at an early stage. Automatic functional checks are a further option. For this purpose, the damper blade on the fire damper is closed and re-opened at regular intervals. The result is logged by the Wildeboer-Net BS2 communication system.
The compact, self-contained FKKUE-03 control unit includes the connections for the limit switches, the electromagnetic coupling and the motor. The otherwise common cabling requirement for integration into higher-level systems is thus reduced to a minimum. The FKKUE-03 control unit is available from the factory in combination with the FK90 kitchen series FK90 fire damper. The FKKUE-03 control unit is also available separately for retrofitting existing systems. The options stated here require the motorised version of the fire damper.
