The Wildeboer TopSchott TS18 serves as a shut-off device against fire and smoke in ventilation systems in accordance with DIN 18017-3. It is intended for installation in individual ventilation systems or central ventilation systems in accordance with DIN 18017-3.

Bathrooms, toilet rooms, domestic kitchens (excluding commercial kitchens) on all floors including cellars may be connected to the ventilation and supply air systems. The general building authority approval Z41.3-556 now also permits connection to ventilation and supply air systems and exhaust air ducts of fume extraction hoods in storage rooms.
