SKE Sound Attenuator
SKE sound attenuators are splitter attenuators made of galvanised sheet steel with reinforced air duct casings and flexibly combinable SE-A or SE-B splitters. Thanks to variable splitter thicknesses and the resulting gap widths between the splitters, they enable an optimal design in terms of size, pressure loss and attenuation.
Technical details
- Can be combined with SKE-A with SE-A or SKE-B with SE-B sound splitters
- 8 splitter thicknesses to achieve an optimal design in terms of attenuation and pressure loss
- Good insertion loss due to mineral wool as absorption material
- Choice of 11 different sound attenuator lengths and a width and height grid in 1mm increments
- Aerodynamically optimised inflow and outflow profiles for low pressure loss and low flow noise
- For use in HVAC systems
- Option: Class C housing seal
- Non-flammable material (material class DIN 4102-A2) according to DIN 4102-1

Product details
Sound attenuators SKE-A and SKE-B are designed as splitter attenuators. They consist of stiffened air duct casings made of galvanized sheet steel, into which SE-A or SE-B sound attenuator/splitter units are inserted.
Combinability
Depending on requirements, the casings can be combined with a varying number of SE-A or SE-B sound attenuator/splitter units. With 11 different duct lengths, 8 splitter thicknesses and the resulting gap widths between the splitters, it is possible to achieve an optimum balance between size, pressure loss and achieved attenuation.
The standard design with standard frame profile V10 and slotted holes in the frame corners facilitates assembly.
Option: housing tightness class
The SKE sound attenuator for ventilation systems is also optionally available with housing tightness class C. The increased tightness is achieved by means of the special P30 frame profile.
Product labelling
SKE sound attenuators for ventilation systems are provided with a hygiene certificate from an independent testing institute.
