Our reference: Pasing Arcaden in Munich
The new "Pasing Arcaden" shopping center in western Munich covers a total area of 26,000 m². The property, which started with the first construction phase in February 2008, is part of the redevelopment of the Pasing station area. The listed Bürkleinbahnhof station was also integrated into the project in a new function. The Pasing Arcaden opened in March 2011, with 90 stores and restaurants offering customers a wide variety of products and services. Above the shopping center, 45 apartments are spread over three floors.

Shortly after the opening, work began on the second construction phase. This will increase the store and parking area by 50%. The opening is scheduled for 2013. The Pasing Arcaden is the fourth major shopping center in Munich. It has now been awarded the gold sustainability certificate by the DGNB.
Various products from Wildeboer Bauteile GmbH were used in the ventilation and air conditioning area. In addition to fire protection components, ventilation components were also used. These provide both improved energy utilization compared to conventional products and a pleasant atmosphere and comfort.
Type DX, DF and LFQ air outlets provide draught-free air exchange in supply air systems, even with large air volumes, thanks to their special design. With their low sound power data, they are ideally suited for use in the Pasing Arcaden. Five different diffuser designs can be equipped with the type K plenum box, which considerably simplifies selection, procurement and installation.
FK90 and FR90 fire dampers of the 92 series ensure safety in the ventilation systems. The fact that these components are maintenance-free ensures uncomplicated and cost-saving operation. To check the function, it is generally sufficient to trigger and reopen the fire dampers. With electric actuators, this can even be done remotely.
The former Bürklein station was converted into a restaurant. In the kitchen of the restaurant, an FK90 fire damper for commercial kitchens is used to secure the duct for the kitchen exhaust air. This special design, unlike other products of this type, can be placed in solid walls and ceilings, as well as in lightweight partition walls. The flow guide device, stainless steel encased damper blade and epoxy resin coating make this type of fire damper particularly suitable for use even in difficult environments, ensuring reliable operation.
